Players, Umpires and MLB Hold Joint Meeting

The major league unions for baseball players and umpires held a joint meeting with management. it is very rare now-a-days. The meeting continues two and half an hour. The session originally set at the request of the players' association in early October after a series of misscalls in the play offs. That meeting was postponed because of a death in the family of one of the participants.
