Humayun Ahmed, the most popular writer of Bangladesh breathed his last in Bellevue Hospital of New York in USA on Thursday after a nine month battle against colon cancer at the age of 64. He is not only a writer but also a playwright, filmmaker and lyricist. He is popular among the people of all ages and from all walks of life. People of Bangladesh will remember him forever. May the Almighty give him eternal peace.
