A Robot with eerily lifelike, soft silicon hands was unveiled at an exhibition in Tokyo, Japan, in 2009. With more than 20 artificial muchles and lack of hard metal parts, the air-powered robotic hand can pick up delicate foods such as sushi with great sensitivity and is capable of movements ranging from a careful pinch to a full hand squeeze.
